It depends on what.
A curtain or table its a matter of preference or attraction.
Weight up etc.
If you mean how we decide about what we call me, then thats totally different.
Inwardly we choose out of confusion.
We decide inwardly based on our conditioning, right or wrong, good or bad.
This conditioning dictates our actions or instills fear that leads to no action.
How do you decide? well most times in a sense 'You' dont we are driven by so many things.
Ever stopped and considerd what 'make up your mind?' really is saying.

It depends on what needs deciding, if its a simple decision,gut instinct, but if its a major decision I might ask friends or family for advice, they may have experience in the matter that needs deciding..

Use dice, it makes for an entertaining life.
1 - Go around your street inviting all to a party at your neighbours tonight
2 - resign
3 - ride to the coast for the night,sleep in the car outside a nightclub
4 - make some pizza, stuff youself stupid all day
5 - run down the street shouting "take me, I'm yours"
6 - Get a piece of 4inch dimeter pipe, wrap a blanket around it and walk to downing street.
Go on, i dare you. once you roll though, you've gotta stick with it.

Try to think about the consequences of my actions and decide what I would like to do.
My actions then lie somewhere in the middle, hopefully acceptable in being close to what I want, while having acceptable consequences for others.

IOf I am in a checkmate situation I toss a coin and that makes the decision for me, if I have to do the best of three then I knw I realy didn't have to toss.
