I believe the answer is quite simple...

Instead of trying to find something big enough to shove into the fissure on Uranus why don't we use the gasses in useful applications? Here are some ideas of mine of what we can use Uranus gas for...

1. Did you know that the gas from Uranus makes a wonderful pesticide? Why not package it and sell it in "foggers" to kill fleas, ticks, roaches, bacteria, and anything else that moves?

2. Ever had a problem with people bugging you? The gas from Uranus is effective at making unwanted guests leave your house. It also effectively stops nagging wives and other domestic problems.

3. Got a spouse that snores? Using the gas from Uranus combined with using the covers as a breathing enhancement mask for your special loved one is sure to stop snores instantly.

4. The gas from Uranus is great at parties and business meetings! Nothing makes people laugh like Uranus gas. You'd kill at your next event!

5. Uranus gas works as a wonderful fuel! Try lighting Uranus gas on fire and see how well it burns...

No wonder NASA wants to use it!
