London, England in what I remember was a made up address, (but maybe not?) since he's fictional *wink* I am not sure now, if the address was made in tribute to Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, or not.
"Historically, Holmes lived from the year 1881 at 221B Baker Street, London, an upper-story flat (in early notes it was described as being situated at Upper Baker Street), where he spent many of his professional years with his good friend, Dr. Watson, and with whom he shared rooms for some time before Watson's marriage in 1890. The residence was maintained by his landlady, Mrs Hudson."

Between two book covers, front and back. Sherlock Holmes is/was a fictional character and doesn't have a home as such except the one he resides at in the books by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle.

221 Baker Street, which is now a "museum" to a "fictional" character. Very bizarre.
