When you think about politically correct speech, that is nothing more than an effort to take away your first amendment rights.

One could say the same about the anti-religion movement, they seek to quiet believers from speaking their minds.

You have to question the motives of anyone who would try to take or limit your first amendment rights, what rights will they take away next.

The amount of ignorance being displayed here by self-righteous, self-serving, self-worshipping liberals is STAGGERING. So Republicans are trying to erode our rights, huh? Then please enlighten me:

Which side of the camp has been on a crusade for over a century to erode and ultimately take away the American citizens' right to keep and bear arms? You want to know what's TRULY ironic about this? If the liberals were to succeed in taking that right away from private citizens, who would be left with guns? The criminals would be the least of their worries because the remaining two groups are two of their worst enemies: LAW ENFORCEMENT AND MILITARY!!!

Also, which side of the camp has fought to ban the First Amendment-protected right of freedom to pray in school? Which camp has fought to have the Pledge of Allegience removed from schools and has taken judicial action against schools whose sports teams have prayers before games? Too bad the schools have found a way around the injunctions that have been imposed by broacasting prayer on local radio stations...Separation of church and state was NEVER guaranteed by the Constitution, and as long as you have Americans that believe in God the church and the state cannot be separated.

Finally, which camp is trying to give the government absolute power over the distribution of wealth? Which party supports exhorbitant taxes on the rich and a perpetual welfare system where NOTHING is required of the welfare recipients? Which ideology has as its ultimate aim a system where the government controls every aspect of business and requires that the laziest worker be paid the same amount as those who work hardest?

Communism, thy name is Democrat...

hi Timmy. staggering to work out you back. I see the meds have not kicked in yet. do away with YOUR American freedom? Perish the belief. All it is being performed is reaffirming freedom to those that could be denied such freedoms by using small minded people (remind you of absolutely everyone). As for the evolve from monkeys ingredient. people developed from a similar consumer-friendly ancestor as monkeys. Our human ancestors took a various evolutionary course. As for you evolving from monkeys, i could say this is a particular hazard yet i do no longer desire to insult monkeys.

Repubicans are not just trying, they are taking out freedoms.

Conservatives and the religious right want to destroy the real America and replace it with a Theocratic government based on the evil morality of their rape-torture-kill Christian God (or, as John Adams said, they want to, “"whip and crop, and pillory and roast.")

America was founded as a secular democratic republic. By unanimous approval of the 1797 U.S. Congress:

“As the government of the United States of America is not in any sense founded on the Christian Religion”

http://www.yale.edu/lawweb/avalon/diplomacy/barbary/bar1796t.htm

This is hardly the first time Christians have tried to undermine the government and overthrow the country. In 1864, 1874, 1896 and 1911, they tried to pass amendments that would rewrite the Constitution to include references to God. Furthermore, there has never been a time in the history of Christianity when it had political power and did not use it for evil purposes.

And today’s Christian terrorists wish America harm as well. On 9/11 both Falwell And Robertson said that God had brought down the trade towers and killed 3,000 because he was angry with America and that we deserved it because we had brought it on ourselves. Of course, on 9/12 they began denying it when it became clear that most Americans were not in the mood for that kind of talk.

We will never know if Adams was right when he wrote,” This would be the best of all possible worlds, if there were no religion in it!”, because we likely we never find out.

But we do know that if the Christian religious-right gains control of America, then only terrorists will control the world. How can deal with Islamic terrorists abroad when we have Christian terrorist traitors at home?.

"Political correctness" has not been signed into law.

A law has just been passed that takes away the right of Habeus Corpus (a Constitutionally guaranteed right!!), the same law also authorizes l warrantless wiretaps - which violates the "unreasonable search and seizure" provisions of the Constitution..

Yep - It's without doubt the Republican congress and the evil regime of George Walker Bush that not only is TRYING, but appears to be SUCCEEDING at taking away yours and my freedoms!!

People seem to forget that the point of not using "politically incorrect" language is to be sensitive, tolerant, and not an asshole to people.

No one says you can't be an asshole, but you have to know you'll be called an asshole for it. People do expect your maturity, sensitivity, and intelligence to meet a certain standard and why shouldn't they? If you were mature, sensitive, and intelligent enough, you wouldn't hold the stereotypes and assumptions that lead to inappropriate terminology. The point is really to get you to stop thinking like an asshole, really.

The anti-religion movement:

Their plan is simple yet devious...

Once they silence our religious speech, decrimlize marijuana and restrict our ownership of arms, they will force our sons into interacial gay marriages and our daughters will be used as breeding stock to produce fetuses to abort so they can new stem cells lines. The will use these stem cells to create cures for freedom hating terrorist who will eventually end our religion as we know it.

Beware the anti-religion movement. They are evil indeed.

The Republican party has been attempting to limit freedom since it's inception.
Each time these guys are in control, they chip away at our rights and freedoms. They use the church and morals as a means to control our private lives.
Personal opinion:

Restore democracy to America...Vote Democrat.

I would say that we are in more danger of our own government taking away our freedoms than the terrorist that are currently being blamed.

Each time they pass a bill, law, or whatever that modifies our rights in the name of national security, that is where our real danger lies.

How much more will we take?
