No. When the spin doctors want to incite Nationalistic indignation they flow some anti-French Jingo and get the "patriotic" trailor park folks in a rage. In reality, educated Americans, true patriots, recognize this for what it is and appreciate the giftes we have received from France... our very core beliefs in Liberty, equality, and brotherhood. Rosseau gave us "Life Liberty and the pursuit of property (happiness). Plus France makes good sauce based foods, wine, and some fine women.
Cheers

I don't, I think their accents are sexy. And the french language is beautiful. The only Americans that dislike the French are right-wing Bush supporters who judge them because their leaders didn't want to be included in the current war situation. I think they were smart not to get involved, but since we were attacked, we had to strike back. Other than that, Americans are often told that the French dislike us, and I don't buy that stereotype either.

I don't. A lot of people here hate them because of a few political decisions they have made like opposing the war in Iraq and not letting us use France to stage our attacking planes. Probably just our government seeding or conditioning the American people because they opposed the administration. But in hindsight, France took the right position didn't they. Huzzah to France. We still love you.

No sir. I am a francophile. I have had many French friends. I find them to be very fun, and I heard horror stories about going to France but everyone was very kind--a little sarcastic because my French stunk--but very helpful and accomodating. They also really know how to party..7 course dinners, and so much vino.

Absolutely not!!! Disliking people without cause is ignorant. If one happens to know a french person and does not like them then their dislike is for one person not a whole people.
