If this is a homework question, your teacher should be reprimanded for such an "unanswerable" question. There are, in fact, several villages called "Belfast" in England, at least a dozen in the US, and the most "well-known" Belfast is in Northern Ireland, which is part of the United Kingdom, but is most certainly not in England!
So either your teacher is a fool, or you are!

I love my wee city, here in the UK, BUT I have also been in Belfast in Maine (New England) and a friend of mine has been in Belfast, Australia
