He is winning the war against Dems more than he is winning the war with Al Qaeda.
On 9/11 there were 400 Al Qaeda, Now there are 400,000.
the Dem membership has remained basically the same since then 51%.

Bush and his neo-con artists are trying to inspire their base constituency, and the only way to do that is hate-speech and fear-mongering.

I've read the transcripts, and he is essentially accusing all Democrats of treason. He's become the single most polarizing president in recent memory (perhaps history), and the resulting division between conservatives and democrats is the widest it's ever been. Even moderates are being labeled as liberals these days.

I'm a Democrat that served during Desert Storm. I helped clear the rubble from the Khobar Towars in 1996. I lost friends on 9/11. I defend my second amendment right to bear arms, and I support my comrades in the military with all of my heart.

But I do not support this president.

And based on his rhetoric, my disagreement with his foreign policy equals being weak-kneed and soft on terror. I'm sorry, Mr. President, but I'm going to respectfully disagree.

in my opinion, i do no longer think of there'll ever be an end to the conflict on terrorism. I do have faith, in spite of the undeniable fact that, that rather some time and means replaced into wasted by using the Bush haters over the final 8 years, sufficient to end rather some issues. They spent plenty time hating Bush that they forgot to attend to the genuine maximum cancers in Washington, D.C., the Congress.

The Democrats declared war on Bush. He's just defending himself.

I don't think he "hates" anyone, but the democrats sure make it hard to fight our enemies, so I can see his frustration.

Lately our enemies are saying the same things the democrats have been saying for years, so I can see how many have trouble telling the difference.

Politicians are always in a struggle with the opposing party. Everything is used in a light to either make you look good or your opposition look bad.

republicans voted him in, al qaeda has no vote, so around election time and stuff they are much less important than smear campaigns against his political oppenents.
