The Princess Bride. It has humor, romance, adventure, great acting and great writing. The only down fall is that Billy Crystal is in the movie, but fortunately, he has a very small role.
Also, the original Willy Wonka with Gene Wilder.

I love the movie..............Thunder Alley , it is about this band of friends , that form a musical group , but then the leader singer gets into a bind with drugs, and the band must learn to face the music without him.............the music is outstanding!
