I take it you are working straight shifts (9-5). You should try 'split shifts' mate and 'back- to- backs' , (all in a week), you wouldn't have time to shilly-shally. No social life , no alcohol. My comrades and I do this kind of work all the time working for the Public Services. every day is 12 hours plus.
