I am getting my hair done for the pass 20 years, and what makes me come back to her and take people is because my hair dresser give me gifts. Every time we get our hair done which for me is 4 times per month my name is place in a bowl, and at the end of the month a client would win a FREE service for him/herself. Every time I take a new client my name is placed in the dish twice. I try to take two clients per month, and for two clients my name is place in the dish four times plus my four visits. In total my name would be in the bowl 8 times per month but there are some church sister that bring 10 people per month, and wedding parties. People just like the game. In the month of Nov she would give turkeys as a prize for the most new clients you bring.

Do you want the cheapest or the freebie? I know a site, where you can freely post your ads. It also has a premium version, but the free version only does a lot. You can post 5 ads per day, and all total you can add 20 ads. You won't believe, but it's really free. Trust me. Don't trust me? Visit the site at http://www.adlandpro.com/ to know more. I know, in first sight only, you will register. I don't think there is any phrase called "cheaper than free". Overall, after searching internet for 1-2 months, i found this site to be the BEST. I've already registered, you can verify. My community id is "crownabhisek007". Oh, yes they also provide a free website for adding your ads.

Its upto you to reward it, the BEST.

Take your existing clientele, do a dynamite job, act professional, do NOT gossip, be clean, neat and tidy, be kind and generous and give back every once in a while, and the best advertising will be WORD OF MOUTH and it won't cost a cent!!

Nothing beats word of mouth advertisements by happy clients. You may want to check your local paper and see how much it would be to run an ad in there.

Word of mouth is the easiest cheapest way. Just ask your clients if they have any family of friends that need work.

Not sure what is considered an extreme cost to you.

A newspaper ad

A billboard.

Fliers

Pass out your business cards to all your clients and tell them, if you like the way I do your hair, please tell your friends about me. Word of mouth is best.
