while playing my Sims 2 game or demos of other games computer shuts down by its self, why is this or what could be possiable problems, or what are some of the possiable problems that could be happing so I can check on them further thanks.

Too many programs could be running or you don't have enough memory to play your games.

You could be overheating, or your power supply might be going bad. Check your temps and voltages with SpeedFan.

possible prob:
virus infection
your pc cant handle the game
hardware confilct
sims 2 is not compatible to your system

could be overheating but you would hear a warning beep, it may be dodgy RAM and do a virus scan too
