Again, i dont want to spend a fortune, so if i have to buy a $3,000 PC, might as well fix the one i have. like i said, i would like to know the best specs if i get a new pc. i have all the software for my added-on programs, so i basically just need the new hardware.
how much memory do i need to run games and MS office? also which processor is better, pentium or AMD or Celeron?

Yeah don't listen to the guy recommending an Alienware, way too expensive. You can get a new computer that will perform better for around $1000 actually, or if you just wanna fix your CPU temp, get a new fan heatsink, I would recommend a Thermaltake Big Typhoon. If you do decide on a new purchase, send me an email and I can help you pick one.

some distance flung computing device is accessible and comfortable sufficient. The trick is to maintain tabs for your IP handle at living, so that you'll be able to connect with it even even as the IP differences. lately, that's now no longer a large difficulty via very actuality broadband modems can safeguard the equivalent one for weeks. yet in elementary words many years in the past, it wasn't unusual to get a sparkling IP manage daily or 2. For holding tabs, i take advantage a application ordinary as "safeguard me printed" which checks the IP each and every 15 minutes (you position how usually) and then emails you if it detects any differences. Your college or paintings might want to have the faraway pc port blocked. to be in a position for your position of living computer, you should interchange the listening port from the default 3389 to a specially used port like 8080. meaning, you could connect from maximum networks that may be locked down.

You probably need a better CPU fan to take care of the overheating problem...also, check the airflow in your case. You can check your temps with SpeedFan.
