this is a dumbass question. first of all, the roads are slippery because of the rain and oil. second if you are driving fast in these conditions, your tires dont have that much grip on the road as they do when the road is dry. third it takes longer to stop than normally and you could end up having a spin out or rear ending someone or hitting a pedestrian. its called being safe.

cuz most people are scared of the rain and think that the rain is going to kill them for some reason thats why.. and its usually people over 50 i say come on folks DRIVE... and there also afraid of hydroplainin. dork just drive...

i drive slow just to piss off the bastard who's tailgating me. then i'll make sure that the person has no other options but to drive behind me because the driver next to me is driving slow, or i'll just match the driver's speed to keep that tailgating bastard behind me.
