Yes if they have good credit and/or go through the right programs. My daughter was divorced, had 2 little girls & had spent 3 yrs. in the A.F. She bought her house under the G.I. bill. There are various state & federal agencies that will try to help based on income.

If she is legally divorced and has the credit and income to purchase a home, there's no reason that she can't. Banks don't care, money is money.
