I believe that sadly, my favorite cartoon show may actually be liberal. and very much liberal. this only makes me hate them more. does anyone else notice the liberalism? not to mention Lisa, the Buddhist. not that anything is wrong with Buddhists. but there is something wrong with liberals.

Wow a knee jerk conservative who can't even open his mind enough to realize when he is being mocked. Hey here is another tip, Stephen Colbert is just making fun of you too.

Did it really take you this long to figure out the Simpsons is liberal leaning?
Does anyone else notice it? I think you were the last honey.
I don't think you are astute enough to be able to make a claim that there is something wrong with anyone or thing if it took you like 15 years to catch this one, sharpy.
And if you think its so funny, perhaps you are a closet liberal. Or don't even know what a liberal is.
And your message to Bob doesn't even make sense.

First off, it is a TV cartoon. If you are searching for excuses to smear the political agenda of an animated character, you need to get out more and lighten up.
Secondly, Matt Groening, the show's creator, is well-known, signficant contributor to the Democratic Party. So yes, the show is bound to have a liberal slant, but don't look now...it's entertainment.
Don't get your politics from cartoons, go read something!

Over the years, the Simpsons have taken shots at both the conservatives and the liberals. I suspect you are looking too closely and too narrowly if you only see one side of that. Also, it is a cartoon intended for entertainment. One might try to maintain some perspective.

If you really mean what you said about nothing being wrong with Buddhists, why did you bring it up "Lisa, the Buddhist" in the first place?

They're obviously liberal. Big bad evil nuclear plant owner Mr. Burns, sympathetic homosexual Smithers, tree-hugging Lisa...
You should stop watching, if it makes you "hate them more."

"The Simpsons" is heinously liberal, biased & indoctrunal to a mostly young & impressionable audience and a violation of everything that's decent & honest.
So what ELSE is new?

So watch O"Reilly instead. It has as much to do with reality as the Simpson's.
