People who have bad spelling, punctuation, and grammar. I learned it in school. What are they teaching kids these days?

Spelling errors don't bother me, but during the last major election a candidate running for some major office walked in to my husbands store and wanted to talk to the employees. He of course was trying to drum up votes. Well, he gave a little speech and left a flier with his points of view on it. My husband spotted several spelling errors and although he had decided weeks before to vote for this guy. When he saw the spelling errors, he decided to vote for someone else. He said that if the guy couldn't spell correctly and was handing out these fliers with all the errors on them, then he didn't want him representing us in Washington D.C.

I said the gentleman probably had someone else do the fliers for him but it didn't matter. He should have checked them thoroughly before handing them out, was my hubby's opinion. Yes, he is a college graduate and spelling errors really anger him.

I myself couldn't live without spell check.

sometimes the incorrect spelling can change the actual meaning that the writer is wanting to say & if misinterpreted can receive a wrong answer. be side you can use the Check Spelling to get it right. which I am going to do because I think I misspelled a word. Guess what?? it said they were all OK!!!

Definitely those who can't spell! I'm one of those people who can find a spelling error about anywhere... In casual things, it doesn't bother me - but one of my biggest pet peeves is seeing major spelling errors in professional use (i.e. newspapers, billboards, professional letters, mailings, etc.)
