If you're using the Firefox browser, download the Unplug extension:

all these methods save the download videos to the .flv format; you will need FLV player (free) or similar to view them

go to http://keepvid.com and type the you-tube url into the textfield and select you-tube on the combobox and click download, follow the instruction, and you're done

Can you right click on it and hit SAVE TARGET AS button?
