after 3 days of lower caloric intake your starvation hormones kick in and ur body learns to live on less. Diet alone cannot gain results that will last. u need to do strength training, cardio and diet. the curves diet consists of dieting for one week very strick, where u loose the most weight, then u diet for 4 weeks slightly less severe because u dont want to lower ur metobolism, then u eat normal until u gain 3 pounds, then go back to strick diet until u loose those 3 pounds back to no diet until u gain 3 back to strick and so forth for a few weeks, which raises ur metobolism. then u got back to 1 week strick and then 4 weeks less severe. it takes time and u have to do strength and cardio the entire time but it will build muscle and reduce fat and LAST and u can actually eat whatever u want for a few days which makes it less horrrible. Curves has the best program, in 30 mins u can get in the cardio, strength and stretching... plus they have a great support system there and they hold diet classes to help u understand this way of weight loss. i lost 27 pounds and have kept it off and i love it! they have curves allll over the world so u can even go to curves while to travel! :0)

Increase your daily exercise or join a program like weight watchers that teaches you how to eat. Jenny Craig and LA weight loss just give you the food they don't change your lifestyle. Also make sure you aren't trying to lose more than you should, a age/height/weight graph should help with that.

whatever you do DO NOT STARVE YOURSELF!!!!!!!it is only healthy to loose 2 pounds a week, otherwise when you do eat your body painics and makes it into fat for storage. try to eat healthy foods like salad and stuff. junk food is bad. also just spand at least an hour a day walking/excersizing
