Iam a business man who has to go to teheran ,when i arrive iam wearing a shirt and tie .The following day i am wearing slacks light weiht jacket open necked shirt ,Ihave forgotten to take off my crucifix or star of david what happens next

99% of iranians couldn't care less what you wear, and wouldn't notice the cross anyway
even if they did they wouldn't do anything to you
some of my best friends are iranians, and i visited the country a couple of times, and never had any problems
why are some people so bigotted and racist

Hopefully you are traveling with co-workers and one of them sees this and reminds you to either put it in your pocket or button up. If you don't your family sees you on CNN on your knees with some masked extremist standing behind you, fully armed.
