dengue and chigun guniea has cost around 100s of life.Should it be taken in a more serious manner than it is now?

Its known as chicken guniea but actually its spelled chigun guniea.
Its seems that govt. isnt serious since the central health minister is still saying that he is not sure about the disease.he says its yet not confirmed whether the disease is chigun guniea

YA govt. is still not serious.they have to first find any way to stop the growth of insects which are spreading these diseases.mosquitoes are the main source of both these diseases and so atleast some steps should be taken to erradicate it.Govt. should act more seriously

I think most diseases are taken pretty seriously! Dengue is a particularly nasty desease. Do you mean Chagus Disease for the second one? From my wanderings around the net that seems to be taken seriously too. I have cannot find anything on the net for "Chigun Guniea".
What makes you say that it is not taken seriously? I'm curious :)
