Through something like an internship or teachers aid you can gain experience. Some of the colleges in this area actually require that you have a certain amount of hours doing this. Check with your counselor and also find out what teachers / schools have openings for such a thing.

There are two ways that this can happen. One is that you are in the final stages of getting your BA in education and you have to student teach. The other way is if you are a returning student and you get you master's degree in education, some colleges will actually let you "student teach" as a full time paid teacher for the year as your practice.
Hope this helps.

Only as a student teacher as part of your degree program. You will not get hired until you have your license and degree.
Sorry - I was thinking in terms of you teaching at a public school. Yes -- many graduate students teach at the university as part of putting in their time to finish their degrees. I have NEVER heard of an undergraduate being able to teach others except in terms of student teaching (where the class actually "belongs" to your mentor teacher).

Yes they can, at the University level.
My Son attends a University and he is taught by "students" that are just short of graduating. They are "understudies" or something similar to that, and they are the ones that teach "and" grade the students!
I wish you well..

yeah...you can student teach under a mentor or you can sometimes sub, depending on where you live.
I teach overseas and I'm working on my teaching credentials online - so that could be another way.
