Assuming you're using MS Outlook,
if there's no "Click here to view ..." inside the box then it might just be that your default setting is to view messages as plain text, not as HTML.
Try under Tools/Options/..and change it.
If you're using a different email client let us know.
What if the pictures are sent as attachments? Can you open them?
