I know...it's going to be far too much but I'm looking for an actual stat (with source) that shows how much a teenager costs their parents each year. Any (sensible) ideas please?

on me well now £0 as i have moved out so my mum thinks she has no responsibilities for me anymore.

It depends what country your are asking for. I heard on tv that parents in the uk spend £20 000 - £25 000 per child from birth til they leave home so prob between £1100 and £1600 a year as an average.

depends on the parents lifestyle. but for a usual family could range from 1000-2000.... or 500-1000. it depends

On Me? Over 8,000 a year on me including everything i need. Of couse I'm an only child so yeah.

$11,000 tuition and books (anually)
$80-100 a month on lunch
$200 a month they EARN working in my office (don't believe in allowance, money must be earned)
$400-600 a month on misc. insurance, allergy meds, stuff happens
