whenever I go to a chat room I always choose my age group or subject to discuss, but I never get what I am looking for. Instead there are inane conversations full of inuendos. Does any one feel the same, if so perhaps we could have a decent discussion....about environment etc. No smart alex please this is a genuine problem

Well I don't bother much with chat rooms and that's one of the reasons. you might be running into this problem,because perhaps you're more mature than your peers of the same age(I say that as I don't know your age) or it could be that you just have different interests. Besides environment what are your subjects of interests?

that's because chatrooms are full of perverts and if your pretty and have a pic then it's worse. You can find decent conversation in a chatroom, but that usually requires pming someone. I feel your pain. I don't use the rooms at all anymore. Unless I'm in a really delirious bored state...lol!

I agree with you there I don`t frequent chatroom much for the very same reasons,most just put one liners or things like that, that have no meaningful sense to them, let me know of a good chatroom then i`ll join in till good luck
