Life isn't always fair, that's why. I ask myself that every time I see little dirty kids running around with no parents in sight, and I think about a friend of mine that wants a baby so badly and can't have one. I actually considered having one for her but I could never give up a baby.

Who are you to decide whether someone deserves kids or not? The Deity makes those decisions.

Maybe some of those barren couples would actually make HORRIBLE parents. Abusive, self-centered, non-supportive parents.

Kids aren't some "reward" for good behavior. The Deity decides for each of us what path we need to walk during our lives, and puts us where we can start off on that path at birth.

Second-guessing the Deity is a bad idea.

I couldn't agree more. You hear cases of people leaving their newborn out in the dumps to die and people who have committed and loving marriage who are dying to be parents can't have children. I wonder why too?

Look at what all the Smart Rich and Famous do. They adopt, and help make it all work out in the end.

Very good question.
This crosses my mind way too often.
The only answer I have is---life just isn't fair.
