Omg! It would be easier and quicker to list the things I've bought that I did need. I buy junk all the time, usually ends up on ebay a month later when I'm sat looking at it thinking, what made me buy this??????????

So many potential answers to this questions, but I think the most pointless is that I once bought a book I had no intention of reading purely on the basis that I liked the smell of it.

Me too. I just bought a purse and I don't even really like it but my son picked it out for me and I didn't want to hurt his feelings so I bought it and I'm carrying it right now. It doesn't even have enough room for all my stuff.

I randomly bought a Furby on ebay (dispite being 19 at the time!!!)
What was the point of that? I think I looked at it for 5 mins, thought "awwwww, thats cute" and then lobbed it on top of my wardrobe to rot away.
Oh well.
