For all the reasons you give, I'm right there with you. And let me give you one more: NOT FUNNY.

Not any of what you mention, although smugness might be a good enough reasons to dislike him.
Its his show that gets me. Its just an advert for new stuff. Celebs get rolled out, he says they are his favourite actor/singer/comedian ( sorry, thats reserved for Ricky "i'm on every other week" Gervais ). He shows the latest book or CD to the camera. Then his favourite band of the time play.
How many favourites can one man have ?
What a waste of time, has anyone learnt anythng from the people he has on his show ?
Think what a good show you could put on for an hour every Friday night.

No. He is a very funny person. Like all people constantly told they are great he has come to believe it of himself and is therefore sometimes a little too smug but we all have our foibles. I would certainly prefer to spend an evening in the pub with him rather than be stuck with a couple of free hours killing time on yahoo answers like I am now.

Definately yes, talk about grossly overpaid and overated, he can't even speak properly. How can the beeb justify paying this twit so much money, surely they could give a newcomer a chance who has better skills, crikey he has it cushy. I'd be willing to do his job, like i'm sure many others would for a fraction of his bloody wage, people like this deserve extermination!

He's cool even though he says things like Batman & Wobin. Trinny & Susannah - they irritate me! And don't even get me started on the miserable Dr Gillian McKeith.

That speech impediment just does my head in. Surely, on that huge salary he picks up from the BBC, he would be able to afford a speech therapist.
