read, read, read! keep the dictionary handy and look up EVERY word you come across that you don't know the meaning.
If you are having problems with basic concepts of the language, or if you are a bad speller, go back to the very basics of phonics . Once you understand phonics, reading and spelling become MUCH much easier for you.
Happy reading!

First you could learn to use 'check spelling' . for example develop is not "devolop". If you wish to develop or increase your knowledge of the English language, just read-read every you can. Use a spell checker, a dictionary or "Encarta" on the Internet to learn about words. To learn about words in context supplement your reading with watching movies. Movies, especially drama and family type movies can really help with learning a language. Set the captioning component of your television to 'on' / English will also help. Listen to radio news as well as reading news on your Internet site. Hope the above gives you a few ideas.

A decade ago to learn English, you had to attend costly English classes or purchase course material like tapes and books. Now you can learn English for free from the comfort of your home using the internet. The BBC and the British Council offer a number of online courses which teach written and spoken English. You can also improve your English by watching television programs and reading English newspapers. For more information, visit http://tinyurl.com/qnzpt

To gain knowlege of the English language you may want to read books and news articles online. Watching television can help you with speaking and conversation.
You will also want to use the language regularly. Talk with friends. Chat online. Try writing a blog in English.
These should all help you improve.
