I am not excusing any one and I did not mean to come across as whinning. I am a big boy and I can take it so thanks for my come uppance.

OBTW Wilbur Mills was a graduate of Harvard Law School and at the time of his demise he was Chairman of the Ways and Means Committee. He was a very powerful man.

He got caugth skinny dipping with a stripper named Fanny Foxe aka The Argentine Bombshell. They were both drunk as skunks

What goes round comes round. Some dem is just waiting to take the plunge. Some things never change and that is the saddest part of this rotten delimma

Yes, there is plenty of hypocrisy to go around. Not that any thing should be swept under the rug but of course being so near an election those that want to seize power will grab at anything to gain it. Any wonder that Congress has an even lower poll approval rating than the President?

Wilbur Mills and Bill Clinton were engaged in consensual relationships with adult women, just like Henry Hyde was.
The "Christian right" is eventually going to start having big problems with closeted gay guys in their midst.
And a relationship with a 16-year-old is not similar to a relationship with a 25-year-old.
Prepare to be very sad on Nov. 8 as the country begins to improve around you.

Yes everyone remembers 23 years ago. Just like they remember bob packwood another republicon who couldn't keep his hands to himself. Pointing out wrong doing by others doesn't make it acceptable for the leadership to cover it up now.
