Have you tried using a "vlookup"? It's a formula that should be in the formula list. Or you could just use an equation such as "sum" or "average". It depends on what you are trying to do. Can you give some more information?

If the numbers you want to enter are between 1 and 29, you can use the function "Choose."

Here is an example: =CHOOSE(B2, "Jan", "Feb", "Mar")

I only filled in the first three months, but if you put 1 in B2, the cell with this formula will show "Jan", 2, "Feb", and so on.

Many people use this function to change the weekday function numeric result into the text representation of the day of the week, such as "Sun", etc.

Look up the function Choose in your Excel Help. There is more info there.

Although I can't understand you well.
You need the selection of list to be changed from the 2nd value to the third value if we changed 2 in other cell to 3
Is that what you need?
If yes or no, I will need you to mail me through Y! Answers the details and your e-mail to solve it, it needs some work to be done
