Both. So many of us don't want to take responsibility for our short comings, we would rather someone else take the blame. You see sometimes we shouldn't be so proud of our success, it seems that pride is the reason for some of our failures. Instead sometime we should show a little gratitude, we don't often realize that being grateful brings about a little success as well.

It is the lack of ability to respond !
The word responsibility being grossly miss-understood to be accountability, and this feeling of being held accountable, and the consequent threat of rejection/punishment or such unpleasant consequences, dissuades a person from taking a blame for failures !

This is so easy to do because when you do something great you are proud of your accomplishment of course you are gonna take credit!!! The difficulty comes in taking responsibility for your failures. It is humiliating to fail it makes us feel less important.
However, I have learned throughout my life that I tend to respect others more who are willing to take the blame in their own faults and humble themselves to us. Humility is an attractive quality it reminds us that we too are imperfect.

That's human nature. Besides, fate can be the cause of our failures and successes. I don't really play too much into it though, what's meant to be will be.

It's human nature due to our society that we fail to see the negative in ourselves. We don't tell ourselves we are bad lovers, bad drivers, or bad parents. We have to train our brains to be dual processors and see the big picture. In today's world we don't have time for that. What decision in the past is to blame for my failure today? Too deep and introspective for most of us.

Naturally, we feel proud for a job well done! And blaming others or fate is just a scapegoat for proud or over confident people!

It is always easier to blame someone else for our failures. It is easier to pass the buck so to say than take the resposibility ourselves. But when it comes to successes we want the glory for ourselves to share with no one.

An emotionally mature person takes responsibility for failure also.
But they learn from the experience in the meantime, in order not to repeat the mistake (s) again.

We will like to believe that we are masters of our own destiny (and successes). When we blame others for failure, we are trying to deceive and comfort ourselves

coz when u fail u will be feeling bad enough about urself, blaming other at that time will decrease the load on ur soul, so will help u feel better, after the crisis passes, u will see ur mistakes clearly
