Report it to your telephone's service provider, and ask them to trace the number and deal with the owner of it. In the UK, there's a law against people using mobile's in that manner, and you need someone with a bit of a clout behind them to stop the abuse. Good luck, and I hope you're able to get it sorted.

If they are sending abusive texts then you should save the texts for the next week or two and take them to the police. The police have ways to find out where the person is when they use the phone and other helpful stuff that you can't legally do.
PS - you know you can add details to a previously asked question without having to spend 5 points and annoy other people with repeated questions just to add more detail

I have just checked your questions and answers and every single question that u have ever asked is about this mob vodafone irish no. First of all u say that u want to know who the number belongs to, now u say u r receiving abusive texts from that number. ummmmm methinks i smell a rat.

Try to call later that number anonymously- dial 141 before the number and find out who they are!
