In Internet Explorer, click Tools Menu.... Internet Options.... Delete Cookies button. Click OK when asked to confirm this. That's it!

Cookies are not a bad thing unless you are concerned about other people using your computer and looking at your cookies to see what sites you have visited. Leaving the cookies on your computer is a convenience to you since it saves your preferences and identity when visiting websites, which use the cookies to customize the web page for you. It's up to you to decide whether or not you want to delete the cookies. They don't harm your PC - it's a privacy decision.

Cookies save information pertaining web pages you visit. If you want pages to load quicker and your normal configurations, like language, time settings, user names, etc, to be stored and used everytime you access certain web pages, you need cookies.

You can disable cookies but certain web pages wont run well or not run at all. If you are sure you dont enter malicious web pages, then your cookies should be clean.

You can delete all your cookies any time you want. If you use Firefox simply go to Tools -> Options. In the Privacy section you can find the Cookies and delete them.

If using IE, go to Tools -> Internet Options. On the General Tab you can find a Delete Cookies button on the Temporary Internet Files section.

Cookies have different expiration dates. They help in the surfing. That is, a cookie can remember what you filled in the blank the last time you were on that web page. You must have cookies for Yahoo! to remember your profile. The bad cookies (usually) are AdWare and SpyWare. Get software to eliminate the bad cookies.

I'm using Firefox. I goto Edit --> Preferences -- a tab for the Cookies page. I set options, delete and view the cookies.

You can delete the cookies by openning Internet Explorer --> click on tools --> Internet Options --> delete cookies. It isn't necessarily "important" to delete them. They actually can be beneficial in helping speed up your Internet as it keeps track of commonly visited web sites, and will help them load faster. I useually delete mine about once a month when I notice it starting to slow down.

Hi
To delete cookies goto tools at the top of your web browser then internet options then click delete cookies. The only real reason to do this is to stop your cache becoming too full which will slow your system or ultimately result in you not being able to view any more web pages.
hope this helps

Cookies can be beneficial (store user names and passwords so you don't have to log in every time) or they can track what you are doing. You can use a spyware scanner to delete tracking cookies while keeping the good cookies. I suggest Ad-Aware for this. If you want to delete all your cookies, go to Tools-->Internet Options and click the Delete Cookies button.

I use a program called spyhunter which takes all the "bad" cookies or parasites out of my computer by scanning it. Also you can delete cookies through your internet browser by going to tools internet options and then cookies are your temporary files. You can also find temporary files on your C drive and delete them if you choose.
