I lost my password and tried to log in but all was in vain (for hours) on PC #1. The next day, I called yahoo and got a temporal password, opened my mailbox and changed the password as advised. This was on PC #2. Today , I am using PC #1 and I am not able to log in with my new password! Is the problem from Yahoo or is it PC #1?

If it is at all possible, you may want to go back to PC#2 and try to log in again. This will determine if it is the local computer or Yahoo itself
It is possible (however ill advised) to have your web browser remember your password. This sometimes causes a problem (if the password is changed elsewhere).
