can be justified by the war in Iraq, work that one out, A significant portion of the Muslim community have said they understand why the 7/7 bombers did what they did and 23% of muslim males in the UK would not shop a terrorist, who the hell do they think they are. Surely it isn't just me that thinks that native Brits are being shafted by the Muslim community.

I am being objective here. If England is such a crap place for Muslims to live and they want their own laws etc then quite sensibly why don't they sell up and leave for a country that embraces this kind of view. then they can wear what they like, pray whenever and read the Koran to their hearts content, equally we wont have to put up with their excessive bu***hit demands and PC zealot tendenciees. Anybody who can understand why the 7/7 bombers murdered all those innocent people (including muslims I might add) is just sick in the head and derranged.

What these idiots don't realise is that if they got their way and everybody thought like they did then there probably wouldn't be a world left for any of us.

Although I disagree with Mr Straw telling people what they can / cannot wear, some people really need to get real, stop moaning about it and focus on the important issues.

This is the problem that occurs when society tries to appease everyone. I believe tolerance is a good thing in general. Religious freedoms should be protected when possible. However, when religious freedom interferes with reasonable security concerns then the best interests of society as a whole must be considered and protected. It is not intolerable to ask that police be allowed to identify people properly. My thought is that if you cannot tolerate small invasions of privacy under reasonable circumstances then you should remain in a place where such invasions will not occur. In short, no one should be above the law period.

there is not any clarification for a girl to judged by using her face and no guy has the authority to reserve that a woman could cover her face. The prophet's different halves have been stated to communicate to adult males from at the back of a veil and this does not say that they could desire to have hidden their faces from the international yet that adult males could be boastful and stupid and picture that a woman speaks basically to attraction to adult males and that that they had no precise to take the different halves of the prophet chatting with them openly as an illustration that the prophet's different halves needed them. I would highly doubt that 23% of British Muslims feel they would not try to stop an act of violence on the scale of the London bombings, the figure is much likely to be lower. Native Britons are not being shafted by the Muslim community, we wish to live by the same laws you do, and by saying Muslim women are not allowed to cover up it is people like you who are jeopardising our Civil Liberties. We can not sit back and let you say we think it was OK that 54 people died that day, it It was not OK, it was an attack on Britain, and that includes everyone including British Muslims.

May I offer an alternative to 'shafting' you, we are defending ourselves because it is always us that is under attack, this jack straw issue being no exception.

I feel if Muslims want to make Britain their home and become British well fine, but they should live as the British live , and not as they lived in there own country.I am sick and tired of their belly aching. If I went into a shop etc with a scarf or anything over my face id be arrested so why should any foreigners get away with it?.If you live in Rome, do as the Romans do.

i also dont agree with the covering of the face, that can be a security issue, (but a woman is allwed to see a scarved womans face, so that issue can easily be resolved.)

If these moslem women go through immigration at the airport are they asked to remove their head gear so as to identify them against their passport photos as we are required to do? I do not have an objection to them wearing their religious clothing, but do think that in this country they should respect our ways of liking to see peoples faces when we talk to them.
