I think your asking a bee or a wasp. A wasp, because a bee dies after stinging someone or something.

I thought we had a cat in our attic, you could hear purring. I pounded on the ceiling and my fist went through into a wasps nest and they rained stings down on me like so many flying tacks.

I would have to be a Bee as they are cute and fuffy and can accidenatlly rip their own guts out if they sting you...definitely the kind of thing that happens to me!
Wasps are the chavs of the insect world, they buzz around you, getting all in your face and then just sting you for no reason. And if you hurt one of them they get all their mates in to help them! Chavs!
