If my BEST friend betrayed me, he/she will deserved another chance. Afterall, we are BEST friends, right? He/She will have the opportunity to explain the why and only after that (explanation) I will decide whether they remain my BEST friend or not :-) They might have a valid reason, there might be some misunderstanding. These things happen!
