My son started teething around 3, but the first tooth didn't come in officially until around 4 months, so that was allot of cranky there. He said his first words around 6 months and started crawling by that time, too.

Remember not to judge your baby by others. Every single child reaches those milestones when they are ready. Don't try to push her and don't take it personally if she's not doing something when another baby of the same age is. Your baby will do it when it's right for her, and they always know when that time is.

Every child is different. My oldest daughter got her first 2 teeth (yes 2 at a time) at about 8 months. My son got his first 2 at 4 months. My second daughter didn't get her first tooth until 14 months, and my youngest got her first at 9 months. This difference in each child is the same for talking & crawling as well.
Congrats on your baby!

I once asked my pediatrician this question and he said "well, they are always teething until they have a full set of teeth!"

feel her gums with your finger...if it's swollen or if you feel dents in her gums then teeth are coming. My daughter cut 2 teeth at once at 6 mos or so...but my son cut his first tooth at 5 mos. My daughter never complained about her teething until her molars started to come in...however my son complains all the time. He cries, complains, bites his fingers. I give him cold teething rings, or a wet cold wash cloth, he loves that! I also sometimes give infant tylenol if he has a slight fever or orajel when it's really bad.

My dauther said "bye" at 7 mos and "hi" at 8 mos. My son is 6 1/2 mos and I don't think he's anywhere near saying his first word.

My daugher crawled at 6 mos 1 week and my son is still only scooting kinda crawling and he's 6 1/2 mos!

My son got his first tooth around 5 months and from there they just keep coming. He is one and has six teeth. Crawling ussualy starts around 8 months. Get ready for a workout. First words ussualy 11 or 12 months. My sons first word was kitty at 12 months. All babies are different though. Your fun is about to begin so enjoy it!

Well, Every child is different, some babies walk around 10 months some a few months after a year...http://www.babycenter.com/refcap/baby/babydevelopment/6574.html
that is a great site about teething, with everything you need to know.
The journey starts in the womb. While you were pregnant, your baby developed tooth buds, the foundation for baby teeth (also called milk teeth). Only one in 2,000 babies is born with teeth, though. The vast majority sprout their first tooth between 4 and 7 months of age.

good luck with your beautiful baby

Teething is usually 6 months above. Her first words would be mama, papa, usually on the 8th month. Crawling, probably with the same age, 8 months. The development is cephalocaudal, meaning the baby first develops to regard, smiles, turns head, during the first months, later the development goes to sitting down by 6 months, crawling then later on walking. Cephalo means head so it first develops during the first few months, then caudal, meaning the extremities develop later.

All baby's are differnt, So it's very normal for your baby to teeth at a young age, or for your teeth to take longer to come in. Your baby is not like everyone else's baby. IT"S kinda hard to answer a question like this when all baby's are so so so differnt
