I have a computer that is a few years old and i pulled it out to let the kids use it. It has Windows XP Professional on it.

I have the username, but i cant remember the password to log into the actual progam and get to the desktop screen. Can anyone help me on what i can do to do this without reloading windows because i dont have the cd

tell me all your user names and passwords and I will help you. While your at it tell me all your credit card numbers and SS # too. oh and hey where do you live?

LOL latitude!!!!.. next u be wanting der social security!!!... now I forgot the question... (pause to review)... oh!! Iamglad I spotted this question coz .. i havent used my lappy in 2yrs and forgot thepwd to that one .. so i think i follow up on fthe answers for this... oh and I forgot where I put the modem plug for it too...by the way I had "NO SIGNAL" come up on mine last night coz this silly *** change 16bit color to 32...*LMFAO* and had no idea how to get in..so I used "safe mode" and changed it back.. but it still wudnt connect.. so.. I went restore mode on safe mode..I dont know nothing about PC, wen my hubby was around... after he left.. its amazing what you remember wen ur up the creek without a paddle... good thing he is network fibre optics/cisco-admin...

If you dont have a password on administrator you can boot in safe (f8 boot) mode and enter as administrator - then go in and reset your "user" password.

try logging in as "administrator" default has no password, and recreate new account or remove the password

Get Road Runner, you will not have to log on to windows. You will allways be there when you get on your pc... J.R.
