I've met quite a few, mostly when I lived and worked in New York: Julia Roberts and the guy she was dating, Benjamin Bratt, Cameron Diaz, Keith Richards, Brooke Shields, Calvin Klein, Susan Sarandon and Tim Robbins, and a few others.

What did I think of them? Ms. Roberts and Bratt, nice people; Ms. Diaz, very friendly; Richards, burnt-out; Ms. Shields, stand-offish; Klein, strange; Ms. Sarandon and Robbins, cool people.

Jean Stapleton & I worked together at the same theatre in the 70's.
Also John Ritter worked there, right before Three's Company started.
Oh, & Dena Detrich, too (she was Mother Nature on the old Parkay commercials, & did a couple of Mel Brooks movies).
I met Kay Kyser & Edmund Lyndeck, who would be VERY minor celebrities to most today.

My boyfriend met Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown in a remote outback town where he was refuelling their plane. Bobby Brown got off the plane with a can of Jim Beam in his hand and said " Throw another shrimp on the barbie, mate!" Whitney did not look very good, by the way, not all Australians eat shrimp off bbq's... :) :) He also met Mariah Carey this way

I Met Simon Williams, years ago when he was in Upstairs,Downstairs after a play he was in.I'd written to the stage manager asking if she could arrange it.I sat in his dressing room for about half an hour, his wife had just had a baby and he was in great spirits.I've also met Michael Crawford and John Barrowman, but only briefly.

David Tennant (Dr Who) in Cardiff - lovely man. Very professional, had time for everyone. Very swoonworthy!!!

Princess Diana when I was about 15. She was very beautiful, so ladylike and gracious - everything a princess should be!!!!. Her perfume was lovely and she had very soft hands when I shook hands with her!!!

Rich Hall (American Comedian) after one of his shows. Very nice, seemed rather shy.

Anthea Turner at a trade show. Hmmm, not much to say, but seemed pleasant enough!

Peter Purvis also at a trade show, nice enough bloke.

Charlotte Church - vile nasty arrogant mouthy little cow, despised by half of Cardiff and I could see why when I met her (have met her three times and she's been thoroughly unpleasant each time. Actually threw a strop because me and my friends weren't interested in getting her autograph and didn't care who she was!)

The bloke who played Spike off Buffy the Vampire Slayer at Heathrow Airport. I was there meeting a friend off a transatlantic flight. Seemed very friendly (but a bit of a lech as kept looking at me and my friend's **** the whole time. . .) Not surprised to find out he was American not British as his "British" accent was pretty shite.

Met a few members of Welsh bands (LostProphets, Gorkys etc), "Pritchard" off Dirty Sanchez (drinks in the pub my BF works for in Cardiff - he's bit of a tit but nice enough) and also the dad of one of the Goldie Lookin' Chain, heheh! Actually my brother went to school with one of the GLC boys but I can't remember which one.
