Well...that changes it a little bit. I thought it was that your son was being singled out and then the teacher was crumpling his work up in front of everyone and they all knew it was his. I know the teacher is trying to get them to remember to put their names on the paper but they are still young, c'mon. She/he should put those papers aside and then whoever doesnt have an assignment turned in call them up to see if it is theirs and take away some points but NOT throw it away. They are kids for crying out loud.

I would still talk to the principal about this and suggest that she/he use a different method rather than that child getting no grade at all.

Hun, take a few deep breaths & relax. Enjoy life, go for a walk in the park. Go to the pound or the SPCA. Get yerself a cat or a dog. They'r very good to releive stress. I have 2 cats If you get a puppy or kitten, you'l learn how it is to raise an infant!

There is an ADD DETAILS feature you can use to add information to the question you already asked about this.

I think you need to find out the ENTIRE story here. You need to understand, and help your son understand, WHY she tore up the paper.
