Hiya, congrats on your pregnancy and i hope it goes well for you! :)

I would advise you to massage your legs, which will improve the circulation. If you have anybody else (your partner etc) who can do this for you, it is even more enjoyable! ;) There are an awful lot of creams to help aid this (particularly from the body shop etc, very cheap to buy on ebay!)

Plus, i would advice to rest as much as you can, as obviousley your body is under alot of stress and hard work during pregnancy..

It might also help to bath your feet (or if you have one of those foot massager machines they can also help you).

Swimming and popping in the jaquzzi (if there is one in your local areas pool) will also improve circulation and help combat swellling :)

I hope this helps!

xx

Do you work at a place where you are on your feet all the time. You may want to get a doctors note so you can sit more often. Motherhood Maternity is an excellent maternity store that carries supports hose. They have people there that can help you. Check your local mall it should be there. Drink plenty of water and stay away from salt.

I'm not sure about support hose, but I think you should stay off your feet for a little while because if you elevate your feet, you will be better off. Good luck, and congrats!

Stay away from the salt, and try to lay down with your feet higher than your heart. (with a pillow under your feet). This will help with the swelling.

Stay off your feet. Try to lay on your left side with your feet elevated above your heart.

I was very swollen also.....had to get off work early......
my feet were huge.......no ankles and toes like sausages....
I had to lie down and elevate my feet everyday.......
it helped some......but there's really nothing you can do except do that.

They sell them at the Babycenter..........also a very useful website for everything!
