Probably it will be on Top gear itself with Jeremy telling off Richard for his bad driving

As long as he recovers and both him and his family agree it.

However, Top Gear has shown crashes involving the presenters before - for example, when Richard Hammond rolled a van while the other two just stood by, watched and did nothing except make jokes to the camera... I'm sure he'll be fine with showing it - it's part of what the programme is about and I'm sure they won't glamourise it - rather explain what happened.

that's cool if that's unique, yet fairly some the time that's in simple terms some thing that's been performed earlier. Or that's 1/2 a large gesture, like he tried to do some thing particular to seem cool yet develop into afraid to get too loopy. once you're going to do it, then do all of it the way! also, even as that's a large promposal in the front of a bunch of people, I imagine it could be fairly some rigidity to assert definite, it quite is arbitrary. maximum heavily, it relies upon on the guy your asking's personality. might want to they truly favor to be requested the way that you're taking under consideration? If no longer, then do not do it - you're in elementary words wondering about your self(attempting to teach off to human beings). i for my section might want to hate a public promposal, yet a own one faraway from human beings might want to be magnificent. do not bypass intense if that individual would not like intense.

Its probably the sort of thing that all of the Top Gear presenters including Richard would make a point of watching if it happened to someone else - cars and speed is their hobby as well as job.

Apparently he's said he wants it shown.

I would feel a bit uncomfortable about watching it but as it was Richard himself who was involved in the crash then its really up to him and his family whether they show it or not. It would be totally out of order to show it against their agreement.

At least noone died in the crash. If someone had died then I really would not want to watch it because thats just sick. I wouldn't watch the Steve Irwin death video if that is ever shown.

Yes, but providing it's edited to remove any scenes likely to cause distress to his family first.

I know they plan to do a documentary on it, showing all the preparation that went on, and to give praise to all those who were involved in the aftermath.

What will be telling for me is how much footage exists after the crash. Did the cameramen put the cameras down, or keep shooting whilst their colleague fought for his life?

If he & his family are ok with it then definitely YES!
I really wanna see it. I'm a huge top gear fan & i would have loved to have seen that stunt - crash or no crash!

Only if he agrees first!! (I think the beeb said they'd wait until he made a full recovery). Also isn't it strange how we now expect everythign to be censored and feel watching what happened may upset someone - without even having a basis for comparison?

I think only Richard can answer that one. Personally I think they should show the clip up to the point where it all went wrong.

It would be a waste for him to go through all that for nothing.

I have heard that he wants them to show it on tv, so if he is happy with it being aired, why not? Although, I am not sure I would want my near fatal crash to be aired if that was me! Its not like he died from it, then it would be weird to show it.
