I am looking to dispatch my sofa (that doesn’t fit in car) to a buyer bought through internet using a hired van. Any alternative way, please suggest.

Yes as long as gross weight is under 3 tons. Someone mentioned 2 tons which is silly because a Range Rover weighs more than 2 tons!

Hire a Luton Van that will be more than enough!

Yes, but hire companies often specify a minimum age and number of years for which the full licence has been held, especially for bigger vans.

Do a Yahoo Local search and check out their websites.

Yep, it does. Get a Transit or something similar, it will be perfect as long as you strap the sofa in!

Yes! A luton van (small-ish box van, transit size) would be perfect.
