Hey Jose P,

Civilizations have worshipped the Sun because it brings the heat of the day, activities, etc. From Ancient times, it has been observed to be in different positions during the year, indicating the change of seasons. So, this natural Clock, was studied by most cultures for survival. You can line up two sticks at the 21st of December in the Northern Hemisphere with the shadow of the rising and also of the setting sun, to know that you have reached the peak of the season. Less daylight, etc. Also, the opposite is true for June 21, when we have more sunlight, and longer days. So, these natural facts were incorporated into many architectural settings in civilizations throughout the world, simply by knowledge gained by observation over years of survival.

Mother earth, well, it is obvious that if you treat her well, she gives you good crops. If you rape her, she is barren - so to speak. For example, crop rotation. These techniques were learned by many civilizations.

Native American Indians saw all things a gifts to be used and appreciated as needed, so as not to upset the balance of nature. I hope this is what you are after.

You can look up drewids, masons, egypt, etc. and will find these concepts. Simple observed knowledge, brought into archaeological sites by the fact that they were known to these people.
