I would say 'yes' - maybe Littlehampton too. I went to Hull a few years ago and it was still 1982.

It's funny. I don't know if it is fair.

Hull or should we say Kingston - Upon - Hull and it's people are not stupid! It is a great City and if you know British History, then you will know that part of Britians Greatness was created in Hull, with it's shipping, human rights & it has had its share of famous people like Amy Johnston (the Pilot) William Wilberforce (Human Rights) Sir Henry Cooper (The Doctor , not the Boxer!)

Ah, being 1982 doesn't make necessarily make it stupid. Afterall, Hawai'i is VERY 1980s and it isn't stupid, just cut off and laid back.

You want stupid, as per the definition? Try visiting Virignia or the Midwest (in America.) COMPLETELY lacking openminded and thoughtful people; places where the Bible rules their every thought, debate and action. This is where they grow up thinking that if they aren't married and pregnant by 18 something must be wrong with them. A place where they don't travel outside the zip code (except to go to Florida's panhandle.)

Most stupidest? I would say not fair.
Maybe it isn't the prettiest....
but I like Hull - lived there for a year - first year at uni - and had a great time - good shopping, good entertainment and nice people. Bridge looks pretty funky too!

It is if they all say "most stupidest" anyway ... it's most stupid, as someone has already correctly pointed out. :)

Mind you it does have a wonderfully beautiful cathedral. Not had the pleasure of visiting it before yet (wanted to see the Lincoln Imp since I was a small boy!) but driven past a few times. :)

I am afraid you are very wrong in this assumption. Hull is full of highly skilled, very intelligent people. The people who vote for these so called polls are usually thick headed londoners with nothing better to do.Hull is currently undergoing a multi million pound re-development so if you dare to return after your stupid comment, you would see a vibrant city, far better than anything else the UK has to offer.

My brother lives in Hull (due to his work) but we are from a very large city in the North.....
OMG it is like being in the back of beyond!!! The fashions are way behind the times and the people are a bit stupid!!

Where my brother lives all the shops close at 5.30 so you have to drive miles to a Asda to get whatever you need....not good when your used to a city that is open all night long.......I couldn't live there...don't know how he does either!!!

As others have pointed out, the way this question has been phrased – and its value as a question at all – indicates that the real stupidity is more likely to lie with David J than in Humberside.

That is offensive language.
"most stupidest" is a double superlative.
"most stupid" is the correct form.
