David Blaine isn't a real psychic, and has never made the claim that he is. He's an "illusionist," and a VERY good one.

David Blaine is not a psychic. A psychic is a person that can see into the future.

I saw an interview with David, where he admitted that the levitation was a hoax, and showed how he did it. Some of the foot that's the furthest away from you stays on the ground.
That was from the man himself.
No it's all in the mind that.

He's alright. He hasn't shown psychic abilities though. Chriss Angel however doesn't just levitate, he flies and has made other float too and do all kinds of wierd stuff. If it comes on in your area give his show a look see and you will know who the best illusionist is.

There's a magical effect you can purchase for about $400 that creates the illusion so it looks like you can levitate yourself or even other people.
