i just love the rain pelting against the window when I have a day off and all housework done and sit down and relax with a cup of coffee! do you feel the same or is it depressing? when im working it does depress me though! p.s where the heck do you post a question like this as there is no category for the weather!!!

I totally agree with you on that one. I love the rain and always did. Shame that people are so miserable about it though, don't you think!

yeah i love the rain where i come from it rains all the time so i'm used to it. i've moved to a different place where it's sunny all the time and so when it does rain it makes me think of home (aahh). It's the snuggle in bed with a good book type of weather of watch a movie kinda weather. I guess it can be a bit depressing sometimes if it continues for a while. I love to go outside and walk around in it when it's only light rain and walk through the puddles. It's so refreshing

also love dancing in the rain in San Fermines (big party in Spain)!!!!! and you know you can't catch a cold because it's summer.
Autumn rain in England is good too - quite refreshing - it's good on the first day , second day...first month, second month...but by January it gets sooo depressing (whether you are at home or work) that you are craving the sun! & just want get on a plane and take off for some sun! So all you have to do is survice 4 months...

I live in the Tropics and when it rains here, about 2.00pm in the afternoon the rain is torrential - you know it is coming because you can here the sound of the rain coming down the valley. The rain is so heavy that I cant help but to watch it and often me and the kids will have a rain shower - very refreshing. Trinidad

Its that horrible 'wet' rain here in north london. You know the kind thats not heavy enough for the umberella but still wet!!!
I love the late night thunderstorms, when all the sky lights up and those cold winter evenings when its raining and windy and as you walk home you see all those warm cosy houses and it make you look forward to gettin home.

mmm... I'm sitting at work with the rain drumming on the window and I think it's totally depressing! And, I've got to go shopping after work so I'll get totally drenched! Lucky you having the day off!

I love listening to the rain when im curled up inside in my pyjamas chillin out.Loads of food and a bit of telly and reading.
I woke up to the rain this morning., I didn't like the sound of it off my windows then cos I knew i had to go out in it.
It looked amazing tho, just like a white sheet falling

I love the rain, its relaxing! Its not raining now, in Georgia. But I do like it, especially if you have a tin roof. At night when I go to sleep, hearing the rain is like someone singing me to sleep!
