No way that is false, suppose that x=1, then 2+14+48=64 and
(1+6)(1+8)=7x9=63, but next time make your home work by yourself. ok!

X * X = X2
6X + 8X = 14X
6 * 8 = 48

I think it is true, use the FOIL method to solve the right hand side, and you will see that it equals the left.
