i have 3 pierces(or whatever they are called) on my right, and 2 on my left ear. How much can I get more?

I have 13 in each ear. I pierced them all myself the first time, and had them that way for quite a while. I had many re-pierced in a more appropriate spot later on. (And eventually was a teacher in piercing at Claire's.) I had people practice on me.. so my ears are now a complete mess. :) Luckily, the majority of them have faded.. since I'm nearing 30 (in two months.. yay) and would look a bit odd at my age, wearing 26 earrings.
I also have my nose pierced, in which I don't wear often.. though it isn't too visible, either.
Basically, I believe any amount is fine.. especially when done by a true professional. Doing them yourself sometimes yields poor spacing. I wish you luck in finding the right number for you!

That depends upon the size of your ear and the size of the holes. I assume there needs to be some distance between the piercings for stability of the earrings.

to the first person, it's not until you run out of room. you have optic nerves up high on your cartilage, and most places will not pierce past a certain place. That being said, I have 20 peircings on my ears, ten on each side all the way up. they go pretty high, but there is still a small space up top where I cannot get anymore. They look good though... good luck! (put tasteful, pretty ones in though...)

Well go to a piercing studio and get the tattooed guy behing the counter to fill your ears with as many earings as is physically possible. It might cost a bit but they are your ears so its up to you. It will look gross and probably get infected but go for it. Good luck!!

My daughter use to have 6 in one ear and 3 in the other... personally I find no more than two ear piercings in each ear looks lovely.. any more and it looks a bit tacky ..but that's my personal opinion!!!
Also softer parts of the ear are usually much quicker to heal.

friend of mine had her ear pierced 12 times about 10 years ago, big mistake now, the red holes go around her ear and she is so ashamed of them, think on girl

As many as your ear tissue will hold. But do you REALLY want holes all up/down your ear? Three is plenty!
